Shirley and George Garai met while working in the bakery department of the a national supermarket chain. They joined their lives and their talents and went into business for themselves. They have been baking from scratch at #6 - 9110 Glover Road in  Fort Langley since 1980.

Just walking into their bakery is a meal in itself. The aroma of so many fresh-baked goods is intoxicating. Shirley and George bake a great variety of breads including wheat-free and organic spelt breads. In honor of Fort Langley they created the whole-grain Fort Bread, a delicious favorite of locals and visitors alike.

Along with their many fine pastries, they are known for their genuine ECCELES cakes, made with currants, cinnamon sugar, and puff pastry. One of the greatest draws is the more than twenty varieties of cookies.

The Fort Langley Bakery is an all-Canadian bakery with an emphasis on wholesome goodness to satisfy people from all walks of life.
